Drive Thru History’s Latest Adventure: Bible Unearthed

Bible Unearthed is a brand new series and we are loving it! It is Biblical archeology at it’s finest.

I will be honest, my kids were not crazy about watching these videos when I first announced we had something new to watch. I heard a little grumbling and pretty sure I witnessed an eye roll, but once we sat down together, they quickly became engaged.

I think it is because Bible Unearthed brings the Bible stories they have heard their whole lives (my oldest two are 13 and 9) to life. They suddenly saw evidence of what they had only read and been told.

What I like about Bible Unearthed is:

• The Bible is the first authority and archaeology is simply proving what we already know to be true from scripture
• The videos are a perfect length (15-20 minutes)
• They provide links and more information for continued study
• We did not go over the questions provided, but you have the option
• The videos opened the door to some amazing discussions
• You have the option of joining an online community for more discussion and tips
• There is a lot of flexibility with how Bible Unearthed can be used. You can simply watch the videos or you can create a full study.

My family reviewed Bible Unearthed, which is Drive Thru History Adventures latest course. The other series are Acts to Revelation, The Gospels, American History (early America), and Ancient History.

We enjoyed Bible Unearthed so much that we will be adding the rest of these series into a homeschool curriculum routine next year.
